Hawai‘i Graduates for Hawai‘i’s Future is the commitment from education, business, and community leaders of the P–20 Council to align educational programs with workforce needs and economic development in the state. From early childhood education, to kindergarten through high school, and to college or workforce training, all students deserve a high-quality education that allows them to live, work, and thrive in Hawai‘i.

Hawai‘i Graduates for Hawai‘i’s Future recognizes the interconnectedness of the education to workforce pipeline. Students’ journeys may be non-linear and they are often in multiple sectors at the same time, such as those who work while attending college.
About the Hawai‘i P–20 Council
The Hawai‘i P-20 Council is a group of 30 leaders from education, business, labor, government, and the community who share a common mission to improve educational outcomes for the state. Informed by the unique knowledge and perspectives of its members, the P-20 Council advocates for more coordinated statewide educational planning and policy.
